Nathanael Roney
Nathanael Roney was born in Hagerstown, MD twenty-eight years ago.
Four years later he had a brother, William. Everything they did for the next twenty they did competitively — Will relying on talent, Nathanael on will. The irony, though irrelevant, would follow them to present day.
By the turn of our century, Nathanael had graduated from Williamsport High School only to find himself further south, something he told himself and his family he would never do. He has since remained in latitudinal descent, now contributing his work and presence to the fine town of Asheville, NC. About once a month, he designs and sometimes illustrates the cover of Mountain Xpress, both an alternative weekly newspaper and his full-time employer. He spends the remainder of his time drawing things he likes to see, if only to confirm suspicion. He walks while he reads, eats more than most, and believes in better. His wife Kimberly is like no other.
