The Blue Sky Traffic
We’re proud of the many talented musicians and emerging talent in Hagerstown and throughout the region. The Blue Sky Traffic, appearing at our Saturday Downtown House Party, was formed in 2005 by Justin Kalk and Steve Britton following their attendance at Boston’s famed Berklee College of Music. The band’s original alternative music fuses blues, rock, techno, groove and hip-hop elements into a unique blend that has become a special hit with area twenty-somethings. Already testing national waters after becoming finalists on ABC’s international band competition, Star Tomorrow, in 2006 the band showcased its strong musicianship and songwriting on their Nashville-recorded debut CD, A Beautiful Girl.
