Often when selecting talent for the Blues Fest we like to say that we just “trust our ears.” Well trust us and our ears because this sensational new vocal talent from Philadelphia has a very bright future indeed! After listening to just a few tracks of the boss vintage sound of her great new CD, Allow Me To Confess, we were certain that Hagerstown audiences needed to hear this emerging talent. And apparently we weren’t the only ones listening. Shortly after her engagement for Blues Fest 2008 was secured, Gina was nominated as “Best New Artist” at the upcoming 2008 Blues Music Awards! Appearing Friday at our Lotta Blues Show, check out the vocal pipes on this young woman!
