What can we add about this absolutely incredible emerging talent of the blues' "next generation" that he didn't simply display to all within hearing of his band's jaw-dropping set at Blues Fest 2010? You better not miss out on Hamilton's 2011 "encore" return to Blues Fest as the closer of our Blues Fest stage at Saturday's "Downtown House Party." We promise that you'll be swept up in great fun as you watch an outstanding young singer/songwriter/guitarist with dynamic stage presence, and whose live show is further enhanced by his amazing chemistry with his talented band mates, especially the awesome saxist/keyboardist Stratton Doyle. Don't even think of missing this Bo Diddley protégé who Guitar Player Magazine described by saying, "If blues, soul, and rock can be said to form a triangle, you'll find Hamilton Loomis right in the center of it." Hamilton Loomis is just one of many of the young artists appearing at Blues Fest 2011, who are the vanguard of those bringing blues-based American music into the 21st century and redefining it for contemporary audiences.
